Guide to the Shop

THE REDLANDS BIKE BBQ IS A NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY BIKE SHOP. WE EXIST TO TEACH PEOPLE TO FIX AND MAINTAIN THEIR OWN BIKES. TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE, WE PROVIDE THESE SERVICES TO ANYONE, REGARDLESS OF FUNDS.

* THERE IS A SUGGESTED DONATION OF $5 FOR "DAILY MEMBERSHIP" OF THE SHOP. MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES THE USE OF TOOLS AND HELP FROM VOLUNTEERS.

* THE MECHANICS WILL NOT FIX YOUR BIKE FOR YOU, THEY'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO FIX IT YOURSELF.

* WE SELL USED BIKE PARTS. PRICES ARE WRITTEN ON THE PART OR DETERMINED BY THE SHOP MANAGER.

* AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SHIFT MANAGER, LABOR MAY BE EXCHANGED FOR PARTS OR DAILY MEMBERSHIP FEES.

* YOU USE THE TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND ALTHOUGH THE SHOP STAFF MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ENSURE THAT BICYCLES THAT LEAVE THE SHOP ARE SAFE, VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL MECHANICS, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE IN THE EVENT OF MECHANICAL FAILURE.

  1. Why not you buy bike parts and accessories directly from amazon? As they have wide variety of biking things there.

  2. Because they operate on donation only.
