we've decided to lift the ban on men on Wednesday nights and invite them back into the shop as long as they resist the urge to mansplain all the time.
that being said, we'll still have a female shop manager and still want to see as many women as possible on Wednesdays (and everyday for that matter).
we're committed to providing an open and friendly space for people of all experience levels and backgrounds to learn how to work on their own bike.

Wednesdays at the shop now for Women only!
In an effort coinciding with the cyclofemme pledge to encourage more women in the cycling community, starting on 11/28 BikeBBQ will be designating Wednesday nights as open to Women (+LGBT) only.
The weekly open shop hours will be staffed by women volunteers and judging by the success of our first shift, Redlands seems to be excited about having a space for Women to teach each other how to maintain and repair their own bicycle without suffering from Mansplaining induced earaches.
Come on down and check it out!
